Julie M. Benz (born May 1, 1972) was an American actress, best well-known for her performance as Rita Bennett on Dexter for which she was the winner of the 2006 Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in the form of a Series, Mini-Series (or Motion Picture Made for Television. She was also a part of the television show No Ordinary Family, which was on air from May 13 to its end on May 13. Darla was one of her most well-known characters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as well as Angel. She is set to appear on the new CBS series A Gifted Man.
