Sometimes, a glamorous career conceals some of the saddest stories. Lolo Jones, who was the winner of the USA as well as the World Championships for hurdle events in 2013, only achieved this feat through a great deal of hard work and a lot of patience. Jones grew up with the most difficult of lives as the child of an unwed mom who had five other children. Her mother and she lived at a basement church and was constantly on the go. Jones her nomadic life led her to switch school every year up to high school. Jones was separated from her family at Theodore Roosevelt for the purpose of competing in track and field events. She lived with four different families during her time in high school to study all in the same place. Jones was part of the Orchestra of Iowa and the Gatorade Track and Field Award. Also, she was awarded this prize in high school. Jones was among the top hurdlers when she first entered the college. Jones won the 100-meter challenge at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. In addition, she was a part of the team finishing second for 100-meter relay. Jones won both the hurdles in the indoor as well as outdoor hurdles event at the NCAA Championship in 2003. The track career after she completed her studies at the end of 2005 Jones was able to begin training in pursuit of a track career. The following year, she took home in the Torino Memorial event, and in the year 2206 she took home the Ostrava track race as well as the Heusden track event.

Born and raised within Cape Town South Africa Brandt relocated with her family Auckland New Zealand in her late teens. Brandt was discovered by casting directors in her native town, and she was offered the role of Naevia for the Starz smash Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. The performance was well-loved among the public and producer Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen, a fan-favorite Vertigo/DC comic book character and the Vertigo/DC show Lucifer was her character on this hit Netflix show. Forbes recognized Lucifer in 2021 as the series with the most number of binge watchers. Brandt will next be seen in a 6 episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira and will be aired in 2024. She also stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in an adult-oriented film that will be released on Netflix on July 20, 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt, born 2nd December 1981 from Cape Town South Africa. She's a very talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt moved along with the entire family into Auckland New Zealand in 1999. In Auckland, Brandt began as sales representative and was later promoted into the role of an IT consultant. Lesley started her career as a commercial ad-writer after a couple of modeling jobs. She graduated in 2008 and concluded her training in acting. Then, in 2009, she continued training using the Meisner method of study. Lesley Brandt had her first major acting job in New Zealand in TV Drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt is a supporting actor on the New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. Later she appeared in a sci-fi thriller called This Is Not My Life which is based upon the anecdotal town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast as Naevia the young hostage and is later featured on in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniature series in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
